How to use technology to strengthen learning
Thesis statement introduction: The cell phone is a means of communication with great power to learn every day making its members participate in multiple ways and occupies an important part of the daily life of those who use it, however, many times we do not know how to use these tools causing distraction during a class or disorganization, ignoring the great opportunities that these devices can offer us.
1 Thesis statement: Use of the cell phone to promote learning and participation during the class.
Supporting idea: The distraction of the students, the little participation and the lack of interest in the inappropriate use of cell phones during class.
Supporting idea: How can cell phone use become a strategy to encourage learning and participation during a class for students
Supporting idea: Applications and tools that can help in learning related to the topic of the class
2 Thesis statement: It is important to take into account applications that work with and without internet since it could be a problem in the development of the class
Supporting idea: Make sure you have the necessary tools in case you have technical problems and they are not easy to solve.
Supporting idea: The applications used must be related to the topics to be discussed, capturing and achieving concentration, learning engagement and student participation, to prevent them from using the cell phone for other activities outside the subject of class.
Supporting idea: The most advisable thing is to use activities that show that the students are focused in the class and achieve the objective that is set, so they can be online and/or offline.
3 Thesis statement: It is important to have control of activities when using cell phones without diverting participation
Supporting idea:There are different ways to connect to the internet, but there are certain applications that allow the teacher to have control and record the activities within the class.
Supporting idea: The use of mobile phones allows the teacher to make a more dynamic and updated class that for the students can be different and fun
Supporting idea: The development of various skills or abilities autonomously and easier continuous activities
Thesis statement conclusion: The use of mobile phones during a class will be a difficult task, however, the applications that are used must be related to the topics that will be discussed, capturing and achieving concentration, learning commitment and student participation, to avoid that use the cell phone for their private messages, according to this, carry out an interesting didactic orientation making the students be connected and attentive to the class so that they can participate and demonstrate their learning.
Supporting idea: The use of mobile phones during a class will be a difficult task to carry out but it is important to keep in mind that it also depends on how the teacher handles this situation and control he has over his class as recommended before starting
Supporting idea:It is a good methodology to use the mobile phone during class to improve learning but taking into account the different factors that may appear
