How to use technology to strengthen learning

Thesis statement introduction: The cell phone is a means of communication with great power to learn every day making its members participate in multiple ways and occupies an important part of the daily life of those who use it, however, many times we do not know how to use these tools causing distraction during a class or disorganization, ignoring the great opportunities that these devices can offer us.

1 Thesis statement: Use of the cell phone to promote learning and participation during the class.

• Supporting idea: The distraction of the students, the little participation and the lack of interest in the inappropriate use of cell phones during class.

• Supporting idea: How can cell phone use become a strategy to encourage learning and participation during a class for students

• Supporting idea: Applications and tools that can help in learning related to the topic of the class

2 Thesis statement: It is important to take into account applications that work with and without internet since it could be a problem in the development of the class

• Supporting idea: Make sure you have the necessary tools in case you have technical problems and they are not easy to solve.

• Supporting idea: The applications used must be related to the topics to be discussed, capturing and achieving concentration, learning engagement and student participation, to prevent them from using the cell phone for other activities outside the subject of class.

• Supporting idea: The most advisable thing is to use activities that show that the students are focused in the class and achieve the objective that is set, so they can be online and/or offline.

3 Thesis statement: It is important to have control of activities when using cell phones without diverting participation

• Supporting idea:There are different ways to connect to the internet, but there are certain applications that allow the teacher to have control and record the activities within the class.

Supporting idea: The use of mobile phones allows the teacher to make a more dynamic and updated class that for the students can be different and fun

Supporting idea: The development of various skills or abilities autonomously and easier continuous activities

Thesis statement conclusion: The use of mobile phones during a class will be a difficult task, however, the applications that are used must be related to the topics that will be discussed, capturing and achieving concentration, learning commitment and student participation, to avoid that use the cell phone for their private messages, according to this, carry out an interesting didactic orientation making the students be connected and attentive to the class so that they can participate and demonstrate their learning.

• Supporting idea: The use of mobile phones during a class will be a difficult task to carry out but it is important to keep in mind that it also depends on how the teacher handles this situation and control he has over his class as recommended before starting

• Supporting idea:It is a good methodology to use the mobile phone during class to improve learning but taking into account the different factors that may appear

The traditional teaching model of education does not allow the development of many 21st century skills. To start with, in this century there are several challenges for new students preparing for a different working world. The use of educational technology is fundamental in this transformation mainly for the reasons that we are currently seeing because technology is increasingly present in the world, and the jobs of today and the future are increasingly linked to it. Moreover, with the good use of technology, it would allow the development of new competences and skills to meet the needs of the world.

contrarily, it is important to ensure the ethical use of digital tools in order to avoid problems during the learning process such as distraction, In addition most students know how to use their phones without helping of anyone, that's why to use it in a classroom is easier.

In addition, phones and technology bring different applications to learn autonomously or even within a classroom, to be positive, a teacher should know how to use the technology adapting to the new world, moreover, instead of keeping cell phones put away that can cause distraction in the classroom, the teacher can make use of the devices creating a new way of learning and teaching.

Thesis statement: Instead of keeping phones in class or causing bad moments by misuse, these tools could be taken for the learning process being useful when starting a class, participate, compete and other activities, the dynamics of these devices is to take advantage to advance and improve learning.

TECHNOLOGY

The term "technology" and its uses have changed dramatically since the 20th century, and have evolved over time since then. We live in a technology-driven world. Technological progress and cultural changes have played an important role in the development of human civilization. Technology provides innovative ways to get work done through a variety of smart and innovative means. In the narrowest sense, technology consists of manufactured objects like tools in service to the people for different fields as education, science, art, or communication etc.

Most of our information is on our phone including social media, text, calls or notes or even our bank account, that’s why is important to take care of our personal belongings in a world where little by little is more unsafe. From my point of view, I don’t trust much in my phone, because we all know that lastly in our phones we are watched for different companies, besides, there is a famous group called “hackers” to take all the information of a person.

On the other hand, we are becoming more and more dependents on a phone, even so, it seems impossible to live without phone because of it has made life easier, however, this can bring consequences in a future like addiction or health problems because of high radiation exposure all the time.

Currently, no matter the age, everyone needed to adapt to this new type of world we are connected in a easy way, unfortunately this has had concequences for young people or different deaths for challeges, dating someone or among other things. In addition, every person should know how to use the technology because this tool is too positivie like negative at the same time. Definitely every school should have a education how to use this technology in young people.

Following this, I prefer to text them to have a conversation and keep going the topic, moreover, nobody is available to answer your calls, we are living in a busy world where is easier to type than call, even though if I have an emergency, the best way will be to call someone.

In summary, technology has changed our daily routine and it has done a word closer and connected, we cannot escape technology it has improved the quality of life and brought about revolutions in various fields of modern day society.

Amelie is a story about a girl with a different childhood, her life wasn’t like before and it was a depressing life. Mom is one of the most important member in our family and Amelie couldn’t have a good memories with her, however Amelie is an innocent girl who lives in Paris. Through her story she wants to help people but she didn’t realize that she will find her real love

Her life starts with a gray life but since she was a child she always wanted to help people, even if she suffered from a disease, it was not a reason to stop.

Amelie started helping people around her but she noticed that every time she did it, she felt happy and happy with herself, but one day she decides to help a boy who entered a restaurant, the restaurant where she used to go and she noticed something for the first time, however she tries to help him without realizing that she was helping him to find his own love, little by little she followed his steps until at the end she realizes that the boy was looking to conquer her heart. I think the movie tries to leave a good teaching towards helping people.

Title: The night Will be long

On a deserted road in the Cauca area of Colombia, a boy witnesses of a horrific attack. Although no one in the closest town claimed to have heard anything, the incident was reported anonymously to the prosecutor in Bogotá, Jutsiamuy. Two female heroes, journalist Julieta Lezama and her assistant Johana, who was in FARC guerrilla fighter, the prosecutor will embark on a dangerous investigation that, while they are doing the investigation, they will find suspects of all kinds.

The night will be long begins with a confrontation between two armed groups on a road in Cauca with very heavy weapons and luxurious cars, but there is a boy who is hidden in a tree and he can see all the combat between these two groups. An anonymous call arrives to the police offices in the city of Bogota where Julieta, a journalist and her assistant Johana, who was in the guerrilla years ago and knows the subject of weapons, war, confrontations because she has lived it when she was a guerrilla, begin the investigation to find out what happened and who are responsible for this attack, the child who could see everything that happened becomes an important piece for the investigation.

During the investigation, the journalists find different fields that are connected to this confrontation and while they report, these investigations mysteriously disappear from the police offices. Moreover, they start asking the community about the confrontation but these people deny about what happened as if nothing had happened, which makes the investigation more difficult and suspicious. Johana and Julieta during the adventure arrive at a church to find out about the case, but they realize that the church is beginning to have a connection with what happened.

Eventually, journalists notice many people attending churches of different names and although they decide to enter, they discover that the owners of these churches commercialize the faith of the people to make money, but also the conflict of each church as a purpose to have more people. Consequently, behind all this was hiding a big mafia with so much power that had influence on the police to eliminate any information related to them. 

Finally, poverty, violence, difficult areas, culture and others made people easily deceived, the child as a fundamental piece of the investigation was hidden because of the truth.  on the other hand, the child looks for his father in two ways as he is God and his real father to seek refuge It is difficult to know in the end who is behind everything, the organization is very well formed so that only two journalists will find each truth.

In conclusion, Santiago Gamboa mentions the reality of Colombia as the silence, the violence, the policemen bought by big elites, the business of the churches, the assassination and drug trafficking make this book more interesting about a chain of violence that Colombia has lived for many years, it is also important to mention that the war is a main key to money and business.

One of cycling's biggest talents, in 2021 Egan Bernal the Colombian who made history at the Tour de France becoming the first LatinAmerican to win it and all Colombia celebrates

In one of the most difficult cycling competitions in the world, specifically the Tour de France has been one of the challenges for fans of the sport, but this time the Colombian Egan Bernal was the conqueror of this tour becoming the youngest person in 110 years to win a tour wearing the yellow shirt as a symbol of his victory, also gave an important turn to his country that stood out for its past and history to become one of the most prominent countries in the sport after Nairo Quintana.

Egan Arley Bernal Gomezstarted cycling with the encouragement of his father, himself a road cyclist. At the age of 5, the young Egan was already showing an important mastery of bikes sport, although he waited until he was 14 to make his debut in mountain biking as a member of different professional and amateur teams. It was there that he got his first successes.

However, in Colombia the sport is not very supported by the government and reaching these triumphs is a task that makes it more difficult, besides Colombia’s history has marked not only the country but also the world in relation to the low stereotype of drugs.  As Egan mentioned "In Colombia, we have many social problems and my victory in the Tour was able to give them a break and inspire many people. Sport unites us and provides opportunities for many of our compatriots. It motivates me to do things well for Colombia."

Consequently, the difficult conditions in which Egan started made him take the victory of different competitions, among those the mountains surrounding Zipaquira, the weather and the conditions of the roads where Egan started to compete was what led him to a victory in the Tour.

As a result, in the year 2019 started of a new great cycling and the rider from Zipaquira won his first grand tour and took the victory after 21 demanding days, he completed the Tour de France in 82 hours and 57 minutes becoming the first Colombian and the youngest Latin American to take home the title.

Bernal from asking money to earning more than 500,000 euros for his Tour de France victory reflects the effort and sweat of working to achieve goals with the little support he had for his victory, Bernal came into this Tour de France as one of the favorites to be the best young man in the competition.
